Biography

Like many other aspiring musicians, we originally got together over a shared love of The Beatles (probably inherited from our fathers).
As 90s teenagers we played and sang our way through The Beatles Complete songbook, but what really blew our minds was discovering the music of Brian Wilson and the Beach Boys.
Some kind of 60s inspired pop music was composed and recorded using borrowed equipment and a very minimalist approach (by necessity, not by choice); keyboard, guitar and on one track, a Finnish folk instrument. This "demo tape" still exists but has not been released to the general public.

Fast-forward a couple of decades. After spending time in various other musical constellations and on personal projects, on the opposite coasts of Sweden, we reestablished contact and decided to resurrect the band from our teenage years.
For old times' sake we tried our hand at some Beach Boys covers. So far, we have covered the whole Friends album and a few other choice tracks during a few summer holiday weekends.

Early 2022, while discussing what to record for fun during an upcoming summer weekend, there was a Messenger conversation (in Swedish: "O Helga Chatt"):
- ...maybe this is a silly idea, but what about making an entire Christmas album?
- I've actually been thinking the same thing, myself...

Making that Christmas album in 2022 was so fun that we decided to make another Christmas album the following year, with a Scandinavian touch this time.
Stay tuned for more Christmas music, original music, and of course, Beach Boys covers.
